Huh. How so?

You don't see much of the sky when you're hundreds of feet underwater.

But if you can make it aboveground, it's not so bad. Pretty clear view of the stars with not too much light from the city impacting their brightness.

… You don't have to keep yourself under there for as long as you do, do you? My impression of you here is that you've gotta be something of a workaholic.

But I'm a little jealous. The sky isn't like that at all back where I'm from… if you could even call it a sky. You don't think it's worth making the trip to see? Either back there or here.

What's wrong with the sky back where you're from?

There's a wall that separates the world from space proper. It emulates a real sky, but that's all it is: a fake. The stars differ day to day, so things like navigating your way with constellations for instance just isn't feasible.

It was pretty interesting, getting to fly up so high for once. What kind of experiences have been novel for you?

Fake? Must have been the work of something pretty powerful if it can encapsulate such a large area.
